 上期节目中我们欣赏了十一岁的英国男孩—Declan Galbraith，清彻迷人，极富感染力的歌声。今天我们来欣赏美国60年代著名的合声四重唱演唱组——四兄弟(The Brothers Four)的美妙歌声，他们演绎的民谣舒缓、清新，纯净如山溪，温柔若春水。　　

他们演唱了许多著名的民谣，离家五百里(Five Hundred Miles)就是流传甚广的一首。离家五百里(Five Hundred Miles)频繁使用数词和重复手段，表达了人生路途之艰辛。  If you miss the train I'm on,    You will know that I am gone, You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles. “如果你没赶上我这列火车，你会知道我已走，百里之外，你可听见车笛在响。”  A hundred miles, a hundred miles,  A hundred miles, A hundred miles,    You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles.在第一段重复了五遍A hundred miles，表达了他恋恋不舍，有些彷徨甚至凄凉之感。第二段Lord, I'm one, Lord, I'm two, Lord,    I'm three, Lord, I'm four, Lord,    I'm five hundred miles a way from home.    Away from home, away from home,    away from home, away from home,    Lord, I'm five hundred miles away from home. 离开家一百里，两百里，三百里，四百里，五百里。离开家away from home共出现六次,表这了主人公对家的深深眷恋。

同学们，你们听说过猴子捞月的故事吗？Did the monkey get the moon? Let’s listen.　　

One day, a little monkey is playing by the well. He looks in the well and shouts: “Oh!My god!The moon has fallen into the well!” An olderly monkey laughs : “Oh, my little baby. That’s impossible. How can the moon fall into the well?” The little monkey shouts again:“Dad, come  here and have a look. ” The olderly monkey runs over, takes a look, and says: “Goodness me!The moon is really in the water!”A group of monkeys run over to the well . They look at the moon in the well and shout: “The moon did fall into the well!Come on!Let’get it out!”　　

 Then, an oldest monkey hangs on the tree upside down ,with his feet on the branch . And he pulls the next monkey’s feet with his hands.All the other monkeys follow his suit.  And they join each other one by one ，down to the moon in the well.
    Just before they reach the moon,the oldest monkey raises his head ，and happens to see the moon in the sky. He shouts: “Oh, look!The moon is still in the sky!” 　　

Did the monkey get the moon? 最后猴子捞到月亮了吗？呵呵，对了，没有。The moon is still in the sky!月亮还好好地挂在天空中呢！
