 3A  Unit 9 On and off  

  牛塘中心小学 管路英 2011.11.29  

一、教学内容  

《九年义务教育六年制小学教科书.牛津小学英语》 3A  Unit9第一教时(A部分)  

二、教学目标:  

1  能听懂、会说Close/Open…,Turn on/Turn off…及其应答语All right./OK等。  

2  能听懂、会说常见物品a door, a light, a TV  

3  能使用简单的祈使句表达“请别人干某事”的意思及进行应答。  

三、教学重点  

1  单词:a door, a light, a TV  

2  日常交际用语:Close/Open…,Turn on/Turn off……及其应答语All right.  

四、教学难点  

1  单词light, door 的读音  

2  能在情景中灵活运用本课所学的日常交际用语。  

五、课前准备  

1  教具准备:磁带、录音机、PPT  

2、板书准备:在黑板上预先写好课题Unit 9 On and Off  

六、教学过程  

Step1 Revision  

1.   Review: Guessing game: Show a part of the pictures and guess the objects: tiger, apple and telephone. Last: light.  

Ask Ss to answer the last oneif he doesn’t knownever mindI’ll tell you.  

Step2 Presentation  

1.teachlight”. Nightlight follow the T.  

2. Go on the game, show a turtle light: What’s this?  

  Ss I don’t know.   

T: Let me tell you the answer. It’s a light, too. Do you believe? Look, let’s turn it on.  

Teach” turn on”, read and check.  

3. T: Look, I have many nice lights, let’s turn them on. ***, turn on the light, please.  

Ask a student to click the button and turn on the light.  

Teach the sentence: “***, turn on the light, please.”  

Read together.  

S1: All right.  

Ask S2/S3/S4 to turn on the other lights, all students say:  

“***, turn on the light, please.”  

S2/S3/S4: All right.  

4. T: Now we have 4 lights! Oh, it’s a waste of power. Let’s turn off them.  

Show “turn off”, teach and read.  

“***, turn off the light, please.”  

S1 ask S2, S2 ask S3… one by one to turn off the lights.  

5. T: There’s a nice light in Miss Guan’s house. Do you want to see it?  

Ss: Yes.  

T: Let’s go!  

Show a house: This is my house. It has a red roof and a yellow door. Teach “door”.  

Show steps up to the door, sentence: Open the door, please.(注意配合体态语言)  

Teach and read.  

Ss practice the sentence louder and louder:   

“Open the door, please— Open the door please—Open the door, please!”  

6: The door is open! Show a room: This is my room, and this is my nice light. Look, I also have a nice TV.  

T: Let’s turn on the TV.  

Teach “turn on the TV” read and turn on the TV.  

7. T: Oh, it is playing a song on the TV :< Hi,   Nancy  >.  

Sing the song <Hi,   Nancy  > together.(动作)  

8. T: It’s time to turn off the TV. Miss Guan happened to remember that   Nancy   lives near Miss Guan. Let’s go to her home and see what are they doing at home.  Let’s go.   

Oh, I forget close the door. Close the door, please. (肢体语言)  

Read the sentence. OK, now let’s go to   Nancy  ’s home and see what are they doing?  

1) Play a cartoon of Part A, think and choose:  

1. What does mother ask   Nancy   to do?  

2. What does David ask   Nancy   to do?  

3. What does father ask David to do?  

2) Listen and follow, act in roles.  

Step3 Consolidation and practice  

Tips:  

What can we open and close? PPT: door, fridge, pencil box, book…  

What can we turn on and off? Light, TV…  

2. Chant: Open and Close.(背景音乐)  

Step4 Homework: Recite Part A, preview Part B  

Design:  

                  Unit 9 On and Off  

          Open / Close: door, fridge, pencil box, book   

           Turn on and turn off:  Light, TV…
