教学内容:《牛津小学英语》 6A  第六单元第二课时(Read and say  

教学目标  

1 能正确地听、说、读、写词汇及词组holiday, favouritedelicious.  

 Relativecome before/afternoon.  

2 能正确地听、说、读句型What’s your favourite holiday?/What do you usually do…at/on…?/Did you…last…?  

3 能掌握与圣诞节有关的知识。

了解中西方重大节日人们的风俗习惯,学会询问节日的相关句型。

教学过程  

Step1 free talk  

1 T: Good morning, boys and girls, today I’m very glad to be here, nice to meet you.  

2 T: What day is it today? What day was yesterday? What did you do yesterday?  

T: Class, I read an interesting book yesterday evening.   

3导入课题 T:Look, this is my book, the book is about holidays.(让学生说出)I like holidays very much, do you like holidays, why? 让学生自由发言。  

T: I think we all like holidays very much. On holidays, we don’t go to school, we can play with our friends, go to the park so on. We often have a good time.  

4. T: Now let’s play a game: listen and guess “ What holiday is it?”  

T: It is a popular holiday in China. On the holiday, people usually visit their relatives and friends, eat a lot of food and the children like playing with fireworks. What holiday is it?

T: Would you like to come here and say something about your holiday.

Step2 presentation  

1 T: It is very popular in the world, it’s in December. people usually have parties, give presents to each other, they usually spend their time with their family. What holiday is it?

TDo you know Christmas. When’s Christmas?  

S: It’s on the 31st of December.  

T: Christmas is coming soon. Merry Christmas.

T: What do people usually do at Christmas?  

S: They usually…  

T: Yes, they usually eat cakes, eat turkeys, and the children can get some presents from father Christmas.  

学习单词:turkey /father Christmas  

T: Did you eat turkeys /have a present last Christmas?  

S: No, I didn’t.  

T: I think you will have a present this Christmas. I wish you a merry Christmas.   

2. sing a song: we wish you a merry Christmas.  

3. t: Christmas is very popular and interesting. What holiday comes after Christmas?/new year’s day./spring festival.  

T: What holiday comes before Christmas?

4. T: There are a lot of holidays in a year. My favourite holiday is spring festival. What is your favourite holiday?

T: I think the food was very nice, very delicious.

6. T: Did you visit your grandparents last spring festival. Did you visit your aunt/uncle/cousin last spring festival?  

T: So you can say “I visited my relatives ”.   

In a family there is father, mother, brother, sister, grandparents. Relatives also include “aunt. Uncle, cousin.” These people are your relatives. Relatives are the members in a big family.

T: Class, we have talked a lot about holidays in our class. Now let’s go to mr green’s class and see what are they talking about.  

1.      看图回答问题:what’s the date today?/what holiday is coming soon?/who are they?/where are they?/what are they talking about?  

2.      用自已的语言叙述  

3.      录音回答问题:how many holidays are they talking about? What are they?  

4.      what did …do last…?  

5.      read after the tape.  

6.      read it by yourselves.
